Hundreds of Fonterra farmers visited their local Farm Source store on 29 November to help celebrate the 10th anniversary of Farm Source.
We were excited to mark the milestone in some of our New Zealand offices as well as with our farmers.
We often hold ‘Pie Day Fridays’ at Farm Source stores, and to mark the anniversary we turned that into ‘Cake Day Friday’ with local store teams putting on some amazing spreads.
Farm Source is Fonterra’s farmer facing team and has come a long way since it rebranded from RD1 in 2014.
It has taken relationships with our farmers to a whole new level by providing on-farm support and advice, lowering on-farm costs and giving back to rural communities – building closer connections with farmers and delivering the strongest farmer offering so farmers can focus on what they do best, producing some of the world’s finest and most sustainable milk.
The celebration was a great example of our values in action. Farm Source couldn’t do what it does without the support of farmers and others across the Co-op, using our collective strength and local teams to make farming easier. It takes all of us being Good Together and Better Every Day to Make Every Drop Count.
