Following an upgrade, the My Co-op App gives farmers an even better direct connection to Fonterra and Farm Source.
For years the My Co-op App has given farmers a direct connection to Fonterra and Farm Source, providing hot off the press Co-op news, up-to-date Co-op financial information, information on their milk production, ability to register for events, links to their on-farm support contacts and their Farm Source Rewards information.
The app recently underwent a platform upgrade to improve its stability and allow new features to be added in the future.
Farm Source’s Digital Marketing Manager Rob Bickerdike says farmers involved with the testing of the updated My Co-op App appreciated the improved speed, and the simple design changes that made it easier to use.
While farmers shouldn’t notice much difference in terms of layout (“we’ve kept it simple, as farmers told us they liked the app the way it was”); behind the scenes, a lot has changed.
“The My Co-op App has been rebuilt on a platform that is more stable and makes it simpler to bring new features on over time. We have also made some minor visual changes to make the app cleaner looking and easier to navigate.” he says.
“It is also easier to find your farm’s external contacts with descriptions of how each person can support you on-farm, making it simpler to find the support you need, when you need it.”
The My Co-op App update is the final foundational app upgrade, which included updates to the On-Farm and Dairy Diary apps.
“We now have a stable foundation across all our apps that allows us to add new features in the future that align with our farmer needs” says Rob.
How to access the new My Co-op app
For those with the app already installed on their phone, the app will update automatically if you have automatic updates turned on.
