Nominations open for top farmer awards

Nominations are currently open for two high-profile industry awards that your Co-op is proud to sponsor.

If you know a farm business or a farm owner doing positive and aspirational things in the sustainability space, we’d encourage you to put them forward for the 2025 Fonterra Responsible Dairying Award (FRDA).

The FRDA is part of the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards and recognises farmers who are passionate about the four pillars of Responsible Dairying – people and community, finance, environment and animal welfare.

You can make nominations, or nominate yourself, before 31 January 2025.

Nominations are also open for the 14th annual Fonterra Dairy Woman of the Year title. This award celebrates women who have a commitment, drive, and passion for the dairy sector as a whole and who are positive role models for women in dairying.

Nominations, including self-nominations, are open until 28 February 2025.
